Letters on Entrepreneurial Thinking

Stop looking for the next answer and start strengthening your own judgement.

If you’ve spent any time in the online business world, you’ve probably consumed more advice than you could ever put into practice.

You’ve saved the posts, downloaded the guides, bought the courses, watched the videos and followed the experts.

And yet, when it’s time to make an important decision in your own business, it can still feel surprisingly difficult to know what you think. It's not because you aren’t capable, but because the online noise makes it incredibly easy to start outsourcing your authority.

I’ve been part of the online business world for nearly a decade now and, if there’s one thing I’ve noticed, it’s how easily we’re encouraged to look outside ourselves for answers. Somewhere along the way, it becomes normal to trust someone else’s certainty more than our own judgement. We don’t usually notice it’s happening until one day we realise we’ve become much better at following advice than making decisions.

Owning a business asks something different of you than simply working in one. Every meaningful decision asks you to exercise your own judgement.

That's why I don’t think entrepreneurial leadership comes from collecting better answers. It's because I’ve found it comes from backing yourself enough to trust your own judgement.

That’s why there’s no free download here.

You won’t find a checklist, workbook or PDF waiting on the other side of this form.

That’s not because I couldn’t create one, but because I don’t believe another lead magnet is what most business owners need.

Most of us already know far more than we consistently apply. What we often lack isn’t information, but the space (and often the feeling of permission) to stop consuming, start reflecting and hear our own thinking again.

The opposite of outsourcing authority isn’t knowing all the answers. It’s trusting yourself to find them.

What you’ll receive instead:

Every week I’ll send a Letter on Entrepreneurial Thinking

Each letter accompanies that week’s YouTube conversation and centres around a single leadership prompt.

You won’t get another framework to follow, another list of actions or more advice to add to the pile.

Instead you’ll receive at least one thoughtful question designed to help you strengthen your judgement, think more entrepreneurially and lead your business with greater intention.

The best decisions in your business won’t come from believing someone else knows better. They’ll come from strengthening your own judgement.

Over time, these letters become something more than a collection of emails. They become a record of your own thinking, a place to revisit the questions you’ve wrestled with and a reminder of how your judgement has evolved. You’ll create your own growing record of how you’ve learned to think like the leader of your business.

Here’s an example:

Where in your business have you accepted someone else’s 'best practice' without ever asking whether it’s actually the right practice for you?

Don’t rush to answer. Take your thinking time and notice what is true for you

If that question stays with you after you’ve left this page, you’ll already have a sense of what Letters on Entrepreneurial Thinking are about.

If this feels like the kind of conversation you’ve been looking for, I’d love to write to you each week.

Every Tuesday, you'll receive a letter inviting you to step away from the online noise and strengthen your entrepreneurial judgement. I'll also occasionally send updates, resources and details of programmes or offers that I think you'll find genuinely useful.
